Solution ?!?!

Solution ?!?!
Ok, so a friend of mine took his dad's business vehicle out for a spin when his parents weren't home. He has no license (lazy). He hit a lady from behind and panicked and drove off. Obviously the lady wrote down his license plate and called the cops. The cops showed up at his house and gave him two tickets. One for hit and run and one for not showing ID (which he didn't have since license counts as a valid ID and he doesn't have a license). The tickets are on his name but he doesn't have a license. How does one go around with handling these? They have already paid the lady for her damages and have a letter as receipt for the payment.
Thanks
