I got 86 in a 50. reduced to the same.
x copper told me in court they can bring it to the original speed and points.
Go to court. If hes there, pay. If he aint then your free.
Still havnt even booked a trial date yet.

Edit: Wait is this your first ticket?
Plus your 21 your insurance shouldt be as badly affected as mine would.

You have nothing to lose by taking it to court. They may reduce the fine, or if he doesn't show you get off scotts free.

I've gotten at least 6 tickets and have fought and won EVERYTHING. Either he wasn't there (happenned once), or I poked enough holes in the officer's evidence that enough reasonable doubt was created to dismiss the case.

Even had one ticket where the judge must have had it in for this cop and dismissed all his tickets even though the cop was there and presented his evidence in what seemed to me, to be clear, concise, complete and factual.

If you've taken law courses in university or even just a highschool law class, you know all you need to do is creat doubt. Question the cop's evidence, question the device used to measure your speed. Use weather (snowing, raining) to cause doubt if the readings were completely accurate. Other cars close to you - that's a good one too.
Check out past case law, and what happenned in other situations. Use that as precedence.

insurance company only look 3 years back ( supposedly ).. 3 minor moving violations within that time span to insurance company is considered a major. Prepare to bend over with no lube

15 over instead of 31 over....pay it and keep your mouth shut. He was generous. About $230 worth of generosity right there.
