Few things

1) the police officer can SERVER you with a ticket over a year
2) IF you got a ticket, and you did not file it, and it is been over 45 days, and you have not been convicted... the ticket is not in the system.

If you have been CHARGED and the ticket is NOT in the system, then you are off scott free.

If you have NOT been charged, the ticket WONT be in the system and the cop as some time before he lays paperwork on you.

You need to talk to someone about this. Consultations are usualy free and if theres no ticket, they wont put pressure on you to hire at all, but it will be their butts on the line if they are wrong!!! even w/o hiering.

if so, did anything happen (did the old charges come up)?

if not, ya might wanna legally change yer name, then apply for a DL

Went for my DL (G1) a year ago. When I got my picture taken, my name came up on the system and the person working there didnt know what that was. So she called another person who took a look at it ... she told her its traffic tickets. They didnt make a big deal out of it, she proceeded with entering my information and issuing me my license.

Last month I got my G2, no problems. Nothing !


However, insurance isnt under my name. It's on my mother's name as I drive a ML320 ~ insurance would be way too high under my name.


Guess I got away with a black eye hehe
