yourmama,
I got a ticket dropped for "improprer plates" for that exact reason. I got pulled over in my black supra with plates on it from my red supra. My registration was valid and under my name and when it came to court, they voluntarily dropped it due to the reason being that you are allowed to use valid plates from another car that you are the owner of within (I think it was) 7 miles max. |

Or 7 days? I'm thinking of the insurance clause here on this one, where you get a few days grace to get the paperwork changed over. Otherwise, plates are tied to the car as long as you own it. |
