Who has had the highest speeding ticket???
 

I havn't had huge ones, but i got lucky one time, there was this long stretch that went from an 80 zone to a 50.. and i was doing 120 and there was a cop there, but he wasn't able to catch me on radar or some :lame: story like that, so i didn't get the ticket.. YAY for me..

Got a 86 in a 60 zone a few months back but the cop reduced it to 65

the good old reduce the speed.. i think every cop does that.. if your not doing a crazy speed, they knock it down just so you don't lose any points...

I got caught on radar at 152kph on the 416... got reduced to 149. Though i couldn't tell how fast i was going since the speedo only displayed to 140.

Not always... i wished that the all would tho

129 in 80 just about to hit a 50zone (reduced to 100) i lost 2 points on this one

I once got a 49 over when i was not even speeding at all :eek:

There was a group of 5 of us, all of us had a vinyl from our local performance shop across our windshield. We were driving through some hick town about an hour away and one of the guy's decided to take off through town... well a cop got him on radar doing 105 in a 50... 55 over. The cops proceded to pull over the rest of the crew as we caught up to him and gave all 5 of us a ticket for 49 over. Amazing what cops can come up with in hick towns eh?

Long story short i got my ticket dropped after a very heated telephone call with the chief of police with that region.

Last summer I got nailed hard. I was pulled over on Hwy24 in Brantford. I got a speeding ticket for 158 in an 80 ($331 and 6 points), Driving on a suspended license($325 no points because I fought that one)<didnt know that they were suspended! Got the vehicle impounded($300 to get it back) and $140 to get it towed back home to Cambridge. All in one day. I was pissed. Now my insurance jumped from $228 a month to $2000 every six months. It was hard to get insured again after that B.S.

DAMN!!!!! Talk about a rough day!

got a ticket this morning for going 106 on the allen which is a 80 zone, cop was a tight ass and gave me a 127.50 fine with 3 point.

is it true that your more then likely will be caught speeding closer to the end of the month.. like they have some sort of quota to reach???

3 points.. thats a chunk. i treat points like gold.. start losing those and your ed.

Has anyone lost the 6 points and had to go to one of those stupid meetings and watch stupid vidoes and then sign a piece of paper saying you will behave, and how you will behave..

Im pretty sure there was another guy on the old forum who had something like a 180 in an 80 or something really high like that .

150+Km/h in a 60km/h zone late at nite, saw the cop pull out behind me after passing him and jammed the brakes, he only registered 110km/h by that point but knocked it down to 80 in a 60 :sly:

instant loss of lisence there.. I guess the cop doesn't have to give you back your lisence if your doing of double the speed limit!

I'll say after my court date on the 3rd. Not before then..

^ OPP do not give as much breaks and they sure as hell ALL show up to court, unless the cop is sick...


5 years ago when I was young and stupid , got clocked 139 in a 70 zone, cop reduced it to 119, prosecutor reduced it to 99 in 70 zone.

154 in a 100 zone...cop didn't even reduce it..

I plea bargained in court and got it reduced to 49 over.....lost 4 points and had to cough up over 3 bills :mad:

lol, my friend beat all of you I guess, going 186 in a 100 zone, cop didnt lower it, in fact he told him that he has the worst driving record hes ever seen, at which point one of the passangers yells check mine(I think the computer would crash).

It was pretty funny, 2 am I was in the front seat, look back, "hey Ilia that car behind us is catching up pretty fast".... "huh, what? "...."look behind you"..."oh !!"....*lights on...

the best get off story i have was one time my buddy had a new 97 chev pick up... and he liked to mess around.. one time we went to a dirt parking lot.. away from anyone or traffic and started doing donuts... and all the fun stuff... well a cop seen us and we left and he pulled us over.. came to the window and said are we having fun? And my buddy replied, no, i thought one of my fuel injectors was clogged cause it wasn't running properly so i was trying to rev it up a bit to clear it out and the back end got loose... the cop laughed and let us be on our way..

I was speeding, but I wasnt really at the same time...

It was late (actually early in the morning) and all I did was a 4th gear boost. Didnt realize I was going as fast as I was but the cop just happened to be sitting in a plaza as I went by. I was speeding for 5-10 secs max.

i got a 81 in a 50 3 points (i think) $17x.xx ticket

i ended up taking it to french court cuz im a real idiot since i dont speak a word of french but the cop never showed up. i walked up and said my name a couple of times and nodded while the judge was going on and on on in french. as soon as i heard the word MERCI i got my papers back smiled and got out of there as fast as i could!!!!!!!!!!!!

i dont think you can get one for french... if you can speak english do it in english... if you cant speak english they will get an interpreter to translate from your language to english... i think thats how it works

I got caught in a 90km/h zone going to the trailer last summer at 184km/h on highway 115, this guy literally pops outta nowhere considering the fact that I was pretty close to Lindsay already. Those cops were like "You know what son, if you kept it under 150km/h I wouldn't have pulled you over". Seriously ppl watch yourselves heading to the Cottage or Trailer this season cause I hear its going to be worse than last year.

i was going 115 when all of a sudden it changed to 60, the cop pulled me over asked for liscence and registration (i had my Snowmobile in the back of my truck) and then he asked for the owner ship for that, i gave it to him, then he just said to drive slower and let me off :thumbsup
