Actually the engine also came in VWs,1.8T passats, not sure if it came out of an audi or vw.
It's just an early model 1.8T which has forged rods, his old 1.8T in his mk4 popped a rod at 440whp + a 100 shot

Ok, that's not really stock. They are stock VW parts, but it isn't a "stock" transmission like you implied. Stock usually means the item is in the same configuration as it was when it left the factory. Either way, that's really impressive that it can hold that much power.

I wonder why he didn't use the 6-speed?

I said stock gears not a stock transmission. The 02J gears are stonger, and the 02A case bolts in without any modifications to the body and the mounts, unlike the 02J, otherwise he would've used the whole 02J tranny.
As for the 6-spd, it's not really worth it. The car accelerates just as quick if not quicker with the 5spd gear ratios, and the 6spd would be more expensive.

IMO go with the 1.8T... it's already built for boost, and make a lot of power on a stock block (as u've just seen)....

and the 1.8T has 5 valves per cyl, so 5 valves x 4 cyl =20 valves total....

Will the 2.0L 16V not produce more power? And what car do I look for to get a 1.8T doner motor?

The 1.8t will likely make more power. It's a newer design, the 2l 16v came out in the 80's, and the 1.8t, late 90's. 1.8t came in lots of cars, including Passats, MK4 Golfs, MK4 Jetta's, Audi's, you name it. There are a few on Vortex for sale, but they don't go cheap.
