I was told that my Acura tires will fit directly onto my VW Golf?? Is this true?

Tires, or wheels? Tires should be easy, just switch them to the VW wheels. Acura/Honda wheels on the other hand, may not fit, due to VW's stupid lug bolt system. There's a ridge, that the wheel has to fit on, so that you can line up the bolt holes. Oh wait, you own the Dub. Never mind. The offset should be OK, but chances are the Acura wheels will not fit over that ridge. I have a set of GLH wheels, that had to be machined to fit. It can be done, if you really like the wheels. Just take them to a GOOD wheel shop, and tell them what you're trying to do... shouldn't take them long.
