silveradoss street rep is low. keep going

MkIII golf transmission problems.

I just picked up a 95 golf auto trnas but the trans wont go into reverse and when you put it into drive on the actual shifter has to be in the N position for the car to be in drive. any solutions?

Swap in a standard tranny? Hell those 5spd trannys are so cheap, you could probablly pick up a tranny, shifter box, pedal assembly for like 300-500$

Volkswagen Golfs, they always have problems with the tranny!
Swap to a 5 speed!
