For those of you who are not playing in the NBA Hoop-it-Up tournament this weekend (July 23-24), Darknights Nationals will be hosting its own 3-on-3 event at the Markham Fairgrounds – home of the largest import car show in Canada.

Here are the details:

Team Evolution Concepts along with the Darknights Nationals and General Motors will be hosting the 4th Annual 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament on July 23-24, 2005. Team Evolution Concepts has been running this fantastic tournament for the last 3 years and have proved this tournament to be tough and exciting. The tournament is a friendly game designed to add to the outdoor fun to the Darknights Nationals atmosphere. This year’s tournament is limited to 16 teams.

*As a change from the previous years we have decided to open the tournament to the general public not just to car clubs and booths at DKN.*

The game does not only give the spectators the eye candy but the exhibitors and car clubs have some added fun to the show as well. The 3-on-3 Tournament is a chance to show that “It’s not all about the rides.” There is a cash prize for the winners. The Tournament is a Round-Robin Elimination Tournament.

Registration fee is $60 for four players in total. Teams must check in at allotted times at the Team Evolution Concepts booth each morning.
All teams registering must have a jersey or shirt that displays their team name. All players must be at least 18 years old. Registered teams will receive Darknights Nationals weekend passes for each player (4 in total - $140 in value!!! or just one day tickets is still $20 a piece!). As well, each player will receive a grab bag with a Darknights T-shirt and other great prizes. The winners of the tournament will receive a cash prize of $400, trophy and bragging rights. So Pretty much if you already plan on going why not just form a team and you get all these hook ups..thats if u ball even if u dont hey its all for fun and u still get a great package for jus paying 15$ each...seeing how the weekend pass alone is $35 itself like i mentioned earlier...so think bout it *hint hint* get a team!!!

The winners are automatically entered into next year’s event to defend their covenant title as Darknights National Basketball Champions.
