I am looking for a turbo or turbo system. I want to put a turbo on my stang. I am on a budget so I am looking for the turbo and maybe a BOV. The rest I can fab myself.

Dude you gotta be more specific. First of all if your car is a 5L mustang, wont you need a second turbo for the other 4 cylinders that have the exhaust manifold on it? Even if you dont, then you'd be doing something like a Subaru boxer engine set up with a turbo on one side and a header comming up. How big do you wanna go? I can sell you a small turbo which wont do jack ish on your car.

What are you going to do for tunning? Injector size? Is it going to be a built motor or stock? Are you going to fab up a return line into your stock oil pan or get a oil pan that has a oil return line hole in it?

Also if you are on a budget, you shouldnt be boosting your car. I boosted my 16v and my budget was 2500$ and I spent close to 5000$.

How small is small. All I need it to do is run at 7psi boost. The rest of the stuff you are talking about are non important at this stage. Without knowing the size of the turbo, then you can't do the rest. Oh, and the budget is alot more then what you paid for yours. Just want to start off with used stuff first before I move on. I already have spare motors and stuff.

To be honest, buying used stuff is a hit or a miss. Sometimes you get lucky with good parts, but more often then not, you get a "good" deal which turns into a nightmare. Personally on a turbo, Id spend the extra buck and buy something decent size which would have warranty.

Since your motor is big, Id go with something like a T4 turbo.
