this is at only 19 psi. the motor is built to handle a fair bit more than that. basically what my motor had but hes got the turbo i was gonna get next year. this impresses me even more because its his daily driver. finally some progress for these cars. theres also another guy in the states with a similar setup running less boost making the same numbers.
Turbo Cavalier on 19psi runs 11.9 @ 122mph, dyno 448whp 426tq @ 20psi - Video

yesh it is, shame that the cars are only now starting to ctach up to where the hondas were a few years back. but high hp j bodies are becoming more and more common now. hopefully we see some good things from them

Hopefully...and hopefully honda s come to terms with the competition which isn't likely but hey I can dream. Haven't seen J-bodies in circuit racing too much though. Most people went honda because of shitty back in the day J-body engines as opposed to more reliable honda engines. Hey more swaps = more parts = more people into it

true there hasnt been much availale until recent years. right now aslot of guys are doign v6 swaps. 3400 is very common and youve probably seen 2 or 3 and didnt realise it. also the new g6 motor, what is it a 3.5 or 3500 or however its classed is becoming a common swap. mostly into second gen but some third gens have taken the 3400 swap aswell
