B20vtec III - Finished (P-S)

JDM B20B shortblock
JDM B16A top end (thanks to Civic_dreams)
Golden Eagle vtec kit with B20 head gasket
XTD 6 puck clutch
PR3 running BRE (thanks to Sickmx3)
I/H/E (2 1/4" pipe, no cat)
Vibrant flat black muffler

Currently running a map (that I slightly modded) that I have found in Xenocron's bin directory

Vtec at 4400, rev limit at 7500 to protect stock bottom end

http://www./bins/index.p...0ROM%20Editor&

Car runs good, pulls pretty hard, maps could still use a little fine tuning will post 1/4 mile times and hopefully a vid after the 14th

P.S, while the car was off the road, i put my rims on the GF's car, and she wont give em back, lol

i bought it off of lightningmotorsports.com

http://www.lightningmotorsports.com/ge_engine.htm

Make sure you check the head gasket before just putting it in, they are well known for giving out the wrong ones

i just picked up a b20 one from honda and enlarged the dowel pin holes

I haven't run it on the 1/4 yet, going to track on the 14th.

I have rims, but the GF wont let me take them back off her car, lol, so im thinking i might just find some stock civic hubcaps for that stock sleeper look. Just until i can find some rims cause the steelies look like ***.

i do have slicks, not very good ones though, only 6.5' wide.

the other guy was running azenis and we were even through the 60'

this is also at shannonville, i could probably shave off at least another 0.2 just by going to cayuga

i was running low to mid 13s on 20x8x14s. spinning 1st to 3rd.. the slicks i got were used and was so and worn out.. surprised that i got those times with it. i didnt have a 60 ft better than a 2.0. 00' b16 / 99' b20b / b16 tranny(non lsd) / ctr cams / intake / 2' exhaust / untuned. got another guy with the same setup with all bolt ons and an lsd tranny and was running 12.7 all day. i've seen b20vtecs hit close to, if not, 200whp with just itr or ctr cams, all the bolt ons and with a good tuner.
