They headers on the LS6's did not come with a EGR, you dont need them with this set up, it was the same on the vette's, no EGR...you are one lucky **** 
damn EGR's weigh like 25 pounds right? They have LS6 intakes and LS6 intakes with EGR Provisions for LS1 Camaro's

why? im keeping the engine stock. i might do a LM and a lid but thats it really. and if i ever do headers there are many LTs that have all emissions hookups and cats and are CARB approved.
LS1s have a much bigger aftermarket than LT1s.

I would love to upgrade to the LS6 but I do not have the money right now because I have to keep payin for stuff to fix instead of payin for the fun stuff.

never had opti trouble, iron block doesnt bother me and i can put a board under my car to stop the leaks.hehe
and ya LS1s burn oil faster than they can leak it.
j/k. if i had the money id prolly step up to an LS1 but i really like my low budget LT1 for what it is. o well. to each his own. congrats regardless.
