Drifting is just a small part of my "86 Life"... I think it's a damn privliedge to drive such a fun car (period).
I hate the exhaust now too (HKS Hiper Cat-Back), it sounds really mean, but it's too damn loud! I want to build a custom exhaust system soon.
Oh, here's some pics of a supra guy I know that came out to the track for some sideways fun.. a german imported MKIII
If you wanna try it out, there's a practice event on the 14th.

1969 Dodge Charger
This is my 1969 Dodge Charger.
The car...
This was my first car, it was really a 69 383 car, with a 727 automatic. Picked it up for $2,500 in good condition. The only mods I did to the car, included a Holley carb, 3.55 gearing, Summit headers, Edelbrock intake manifold, Edelbrock valve covers (for looks) and MSD igniton. Some how, I was still the fastest kid at my High School, untell I ran an EVO. This one kid had an EVO, that was fairly stock, He had me from the line, but after I hit about 60 or so I started to close the gap between us FAST, then he slowed down, there was no question about it, we both agreed that I could have taken him in the long run.
That wasnt good enough for me, so I took up a job to help fund my project. I was able to buy a 440 Six Pack motor for $4,000 off Ebay, and for an extra $600 I could get a 4 speed transmission. So I did it, I did not have the cash at the time, so I had my dad get it for me. I had the motor installed by a shop near by, took them 5 days! The 318 was taken out and taken home, sits in the garage now, because a fresh 440 Six Pack was in its place, along with a nice 4 speed and dual 3 inch exhaust with Flowmaster exhaust. I then raced the EVO again, from the get go it was close, my hood was next to the rear of the front door, it was that close! After I hit 3rd I schooled him, I walked him like no other car has been walked, I mean it was bad.
We estimated my car would run low 13's, high 12's with the set up it had, because the 440+6 Road Runner was easly a 12.8 second car stock, but also about 200 lbs more heavy. So the fun didn't stop there, I went to Summit's site and ordered a few goodies, again agreeing to pay my dad back, I purchased Camshaft and lifter set, Valve springs, pushrods, Roller Rocker Arms, and more. I also had my heads ported and polished along with my original intake manifold, this was not cheap, this I had to pay for myself, for the 2 heads and intake manifold I was looking at $2,600! I paid it, and it was very much worth it. Now I had a 440+6 Dodge Charger, 4 speed, nice street / strip motor set up in it. I ran the EVO once more, and this time by 60 I was a good half lenth ahead, by time I hit 3rd gear, he was a good 2 bus lenths back, the car contunited to pull even in 4th gear, I shut it down around 120 MPH, he was still back there, maybe going 80-90ish. The car is expected to run low-mid 11's on Street tires, easy 10 second ET's with some good slicks and traction.
photos coming soon.
