Post The mods are coming along slowly.

Just got the clear corners and rear bumper lenses installed today. This install sucked to say the least and I need to ask for some advice. No matter what I did I could not get the lenses to install flush like the stock units. Can anyone help me out here?

I had to kinda man-handle mine in there.....they didn't fit flush right away, it took a while for me to get them straight.

All I know is that they were a pain to get to, I ended up having to take out my headlights to get to them.

Looks good though.

Seriously one of the things that drove me nuts is this. Our front bulbs are supposed to be a 3157 yet the passenger side socket is actually made for a 1157 bulb. So I had to call a friend of mine (who was coming to my home anyway) to stop by O'Reilly's and pick up a 1157NA bulb.

Looks good. Mine fit in perfect when we put them in, no problem, so I don't know what to suggest.

the reason they don't fit is they are aftermarket rarely do aftermarket parts fit perfect

Mine fi-- oh yeah, I painted mine while they were still installed. I tried taking mine out but the bolt holding once of the plastic pieces on had bonded with the bumper, so turning the bolt just twisted the bumper's plastic.

Anyway, looks really good, Chris. I say don't worry about the flush-ness, its not noticable until ya look at it up close.
