I never knew they tested their cars on the Nurburg ring.. Anyways. Sounds nice, I dispise the look though.

All the German carmakers test their cars chassies on the Nürburgring for perfection. Did'nt the Corvette Z06 also got tested on the Nürburgring for washing of the old "american cars can't turn, only go fast in a strait line" (which is true untill the Z06 turned up)

The ZO6 turned a very fast lap there too. I still question it's cornering abilities.

The skylines were tested on the Nurburgring too. Set very fast times. Nissan even has a version of the R34 called the "NÜR Spec"

As for the M6. Its an amazing car. It just doesn't look the part. If I had the budget to buy one id rather buy the Mercedes SL 55 or 65.
