The skylines were tested on the Nurburgring too. Set very fast times. Nissan even has a version of the R34 called the "NÜR Spec"

As for the M6. Its an amazing car. It just doesn't look the part. If I had the budget to buy one id rather buy the Mercedes SL 55 or 65.
