New dash pic
I didn't consider changing the needles to blue. I wouldn't want to deal with putting the needles out and back in their proper location lol. This is about the fourth time I have taken my dash apart. It's not too hard to do it takes me a few hours cuz when I put it back together I make sure everything is very tight. I intended to repaint my air vents gray as well but I could not get the air vent by the air bag out.
Also I used 1/2" instrument panel sockets. No soddering here
I didn't realize that there was a need to sodder until I researched it a little further after buying the lights. I got them on ebay and it had said they were nonpolarized so I was just going to replace all my lights with them (turned out to only use 7 once I realized I need to buy 7 bases and that they were in fact polarized). It is just something I had always thought about doing and ended up spur of the moment deciding to actually go ahead and do.
