LHD Part was there cuz I copied my specs from where my car is shown on a Japanese VW website. http://www.vwgolf-mk2.com/esimon.html Glad to see there's a sense of humor on this site! LOL!!! :haha: :nana: lmk when ur ready to put ur car up against mine (hopefully I should be done by spring) then we can talk about my car's performance! :fing02: don't forget, my car is red, thats like 20 HP right there, plus a kenwood cd deck so thats like another 15hp. :D For now, I haven't even brought this one out to the track to see what she can do yet. do u guys do track meets in the spring and summer? its a nice feeling to know the kid in the Hyundai (no offence to hyundai owners, these just seem to be the folks that try to prove something to me when i'm at the lights), is gonna get spanked by my little old jetta! I have nothing to prove, but i don't mind showin them my tail lights! with all the mods i believe, ( and this is a general guesstimate) that she is doing about 140hp. will know better once she is properly tuned. I've only owned this car for almost 2 yrs now, so i have lots more work to do. hope this answers your question. :veryhappy |

u'll never have enough for me.
a Vr6 and a G60...right. G60 superchargers dont flow nearly enough for a VR6 hell at 5 psi they only make 160 hp on a 1.8L so at 2.8L it'll just choke the of of the engine. and even a VR6 mk2 unless heavilly modded wont touch me... i'm not trying to put you down.....but u're saying that this AMAZING 16V GTX engine is the ... we had a guy on here with modded 16V GTI and he only ran a 15.7 |

I never said my car was the . in fact if you read my posts, you'll see i have a pretty good idea my car isn't the fastest. did I say I was spankin audi tt's or vette's? I can be proud of my car. I have a 16v engine, a lot of vw owners don't. so mine is a cut above most mk2 Jetta's, plus my mods equals one fast little car, not THE FASTEST, but good enough until i choose to go to something more powerful. a little insecure are we? sounds like you got something to prove. Please don't take me out of context, this is so easily done over the internet. all is said in fun. have a sense of humor man, its only the internet. any time u wanna race me, i'm game. Would be good for shits and giggles. haven't been to a track with my car ever. no one answered my question yet, do u guys have days where u all hit the track and race each other? or is it just for races with prize money? (i wouldn't mind tryin that too) anyways, LMK Guys! RedLiner, lets drink a beer, and talk shop! We can race for pinks after! LOL!!! |
