good find man. If you need any help on what to do. PM me or msg me on msn i can help you out as ive been to the end and back with these cars. best thing you can do to make this car actually worth it is get rid of the T5 as they are the weakest peice of crap ever made. depending on what power levels our going for and what purpose you may want an auto

Super Car, if your going to Mod the car you will need to get yourself a 89 Mustang computer and a Mass Air Flow sensor. 88's did NOT have Mass Air Flow on them.
The 5.0 motor responds better to mods if it has MAF on it. Any 89-93 will do.

thanks guy, and thanks for the info. im on a few mustang forums now and alkready have a handful of toys ready to go on car is very clean, its almost a shame to modify it because a car this stock will be worth something one day, hah. oh well, im gonna enjoy making her quick


im already keeping my eyes open for a used tremec or world class t5 as its a bit stronger than the stock piece of . i plan on having it broken early next year.

might be hitting the track this weekend with it to get an idea of what she runs completely stock, do some free tricks see what she does and then off to storage she goes. and next eyar we mod, add spray and hang on

Awesome buy, those cars are sick!

Btw, what are you getting for gas mileage now? I'm thinking about picking up a old 5litre Z28 soon and the mustang is pretty close to it...

a 5.0 stang and a 5.0 Z28 are nothing alike. the 305 chevy is nothing more than a boat anchor especially in a heavy *** camero. you would get better comparison between apples and oranges. Lol

oh yea nice stang btw. love the notch backs

thanks, yeah i got a really nice deal on it. gas milage dont know, i wont drive it till this weekend when i hope to take it to the track. but my buddy gets great milage on the hiway with his 4.10 gears. cars still revving nice and low in 5th gear.

ya the tremec is the best way to go.

and yes if your planning on putting big numbers down. and the car is gonig to be used for drag racing. and Auto trans is the only way to go

thanks man, im keepign my eyes open for a set of ponys for the car right now. id like to have a few sets of wheels to satisfy whatever tickles me that week. lol. actually i want a set of drag lites with some slicks on them, a set of wheels to just use on the street and i plan on makign the car turn and stop so id like a nice set of wheels with some hard sidewall sticky rubber.

rick when your ready to sell you let me know and ill likely take whatever your throwing out

autos are gay. if i wanted an auto id have baught one. i dont want a pure drag car its useless to me. i want somethign ic an have fun with and this is just the car for me. might have found a compelte rear end with 4.10 gears and moser axles. very cheap too
