lots of guys run cars wth cages. if i get into an accident on the street or the hiway and the car ends up flipping over, the cage is whats gonna save my life, not the 20 year old steel folding over me
ive got a few friends who run caged street cars an none have any issues with smacking their heads. i guess it depends where you place the hoop

alright man, i was just reading this article in the newest issue of sport compact car, and they were warning against using cages in street cars, but if u can find a way to do it safely then by all means go for it.

i know what your saying, it depends on the car. my buddys miata has a cage, well had a cage he sold the car, and the fuken thing is so small that id smack m head off the hoop all the time and it was annoying. at the same time ive got a friend whos got a caged stang and my head didnt once come close to it. it all boils down to the car its in and how its put in
plus the stang isnt a daily driver so if i have to drive around town with a helmet on weekends when i drive it i will, lol
