The driver may have limited involvement but there must have been a malfunction. How many 1000s of burnouts would a pro like that have under his belt.

Fault is solely on the organizers. They should be charged with criminal negligence causing death. If its for charity I'm sure they could have coaxed a local construction company to put up some concrete barriers at the minimum in exchange for ad space.

But the place is pretty redneck so that probably never was considered.
