If you wanted a mechanical discussion, you should have posted this in the general automotive section.

Looks wise, i'd take the EVO

but people need to understand something.

In North America, the 2 cant be compared. Only in japan.

I come from a family of scubby's (mom baja, dad 2.5rs) we've been driving these cars since the 80's, I will stand behind one anyday. I've had the chance to drive an STi, simply put, the most balanced car I've ever driven. The lancer doesnt do it for me.
