for a 2000 sunfire, its not easy to put the deck in..you've gotta either relocate the factory radio, or get a $150 harness..this is because all GM's 2000+ have the door chimes and diagnostics wired through the factory radio..
just a heads up

wow, you must be a best buy or future shop employee.

its interesting info, but wrong nonetheless.

2000+ do noe have to relocate the deck. you do NOT lose your airbags. all you lose is the annoying door chimes. get a wiring harness (not the $150 T harness, just the regular one). the speaker wires and all other are pretty basic. the only one that has to be modified is the red +12v accessory wire. this wire has to connected to a constant 12v source. this can be the ignition wie, or get a fuse tap and tap into the wiper fuse. its pretty easy and can be run under the dash.

you would have had to run an accessory wire as there is no constant +12v in the gm harness.
