haha nah actually, we had to take out the old panther alarm that the guy previously had installed that sucked ***, he had it installed at some shop and it kept draining the battery so once we figured out the mess of the old one, then we started the new alarm. It was fun, tho...

Although, really, mine goes off the second the hood is opened... so to try Arch's expirament out I had to hold the hood pin down so the alarm would think the hood was still closed, and then disconnect it and then it still went off. Beats me, if a theif can get through both of those ways then **** take the car.

ok i got this alarm http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...5739191168&rd=1, and i have a friend at crescent car stereo and he said he would hook it up for me for cheap..
But he said all i need to get is the wirring like diagram so he knows what wires to splis into???? can anyone help ???????

we set mine up by using nothing but a meter to measure the voltage going through each thing. As in...
"Ok, time for the door lock wire.." *tap each individual wire that goes to the doors, press the lock switch each time until we got a blip in the voltage*
