Hey guys just need some help with installing car audio, I figured it cant be that hard rgith and ill save myself 150 bux. Anyays I have everything wired up, subs, amp, deck, speakers. everything works fine, but u know the blue wire that when u turn on the car ur amp and deck turns on. Exactly how do u hook that up to ur deck as well as ur amp, any help would be a appreciated, also whenever I try to use that wire for just the deck it doenst work but works fine for the amp. HELP PLEEZ, thanks a lot

there is a + REM - the blue wire is for the amp remote u got to run the blue wire to the rem on ur amp it should be between the pos and neg

if its a sony deck it a blue/ yellow wire and it should say amp rem on a yellow tag

hey guys, thanks for the help. but I have the amp and everything hooked up, I just need to know how to when u start the car the deck turns on thats the only problem I have right now

yeah u hook up the red and yellow wire to the yellow and red wire right and it should work? am I correct because it isnt working right now

Get your multimeter and check which wire is on all the time and which one is switched on by the ignition. The red should be the constant and yellow switched. If you hook them both to the constant, you will have to turn the deck off manually, or it will not turn on at all depending on how old the deck is.
