my whole system to buy from a normal installer is about 10000 but i paid 6000 and that just covered materials for the most part. They ****** up and under quoted me then had to honer it lol.

most shops use a wooden circle for mouting the sub, and staple the fiberglass material in place (use some hot glue and wood to support the rings) and get the general shape apply resin, then build up from that, plastic filler sand and paint or cover

yea wooden rings with wood suports to hold it in shape they did the same thing for the chevy emblem too. Its cool to see it done. They build a basic woden outline kinda for the box then stretch the material into the shapes and apply the resin or what ever to make it hard.

Ok when they say this

2 x 200 Watts RMS @ 4ohms
2 x 250 Watts RMS @ 2ohms
2 x 300 Watts RMS @ 1ohm
1 x 1200 Watts MAX @ 2ohms

this is what always confuses me...the different ohm settings...how do you accomplish that...have a bugger power wire going to the amp?

1 regular speaker is 4 ohms, so wireing 2 together would get 2 ohms and so on (I know it's a very basic representation but you get the idea) check out www.the12volt.com they have wireing diagrams that will help

1 in mdf is expensive and hard to find (most places don't have 3/4in mdf they have some stuff they call mdf, but it's not)

and if you want to go comp level i bet your going to need more airspace in your box for the subs to optimal bass. It took 8 cubic feet of airspace for my 2 12s thats why i no longer have back seats. But again arch would know more about that then me.
