I saw one of the boxs blown apart cause they got it done by someone and when it blew apart they brought it in to my guys to work on it. Maybe it was just a really shity box or something but it was on of those pre built boxes. (shrug)

you need about 1 sheet, not sure current cost, last time I checked it was about $40 for MDF

not dense enough, it rattles and flexes like rubber. you could probably get by with half a sheet if you cut very carefully, birch plywood works, but can delaminate causeing buzzing noises

I say go with fiberglass, that is what I'm doing. As soon as I take some measurements I will make a mold of the floor board area. Then it is time to pick up some glass mat.
