help wit indash installation

i got a bmw 318is, had an aftermarket deck already but it was hardwired, no wiring harness nd everythin was all sorted out at da back cleaned, wires were all tucked in nicely, the only wires were showin were black, yellow and purple. so the deck i had before the black wire was connected to black, purple connected to blue (amp wire) and yellow and red connected to yellow to the deck, while i was takin da older deck out the black nd yellow wire frm the car touched each other nd a spark came nd den i connected ma dvd in dash didnt power up and my amp didnt power up aswell.. i connect ma older deck back the way it was connect and it didnt work either
so is the fusse blown?
if yes
then i tryed openning my hood nd i got the cover and i found radio, they were 2 fuses sayin (9,44) and number 9 was not their frm the begining and 44 was already fine but i switched around few fuses and it still didnt work

so wot could be the problem? i didnt test the fuses by the tester maybe it is the fuse if not then wot else could be it ???

please help really important

Thanks a lot

check the fuse box underneath your dash...(if your beemer has one under there) thats usually where the interior fuses are.

Leung can only hope to improve
its a fuse but use a vm to check if any voltage is on the yellow wire n check fusebox nd replace any thats burnt n check for proper grounding also
amp should be fine it turns on when connected to a deck thats on and dissconect the battery next time

i dont know why you just wouldnt go get it installed by someone who knows what there doing...most places will do it for 50$ but instead now you have to pay for everything that you have blown up...i just hope you dident blow the deck..
