how much is too much?

I have 700 watts of sound? the boxes says 400Watts and 300Watts and a equalizer thing... and two 10" speakers in the rear hatch and little speakers on the dash and on the a-pilliar in the 1988 camaro, its all like i bought it.. is this show off material or normal or what? its jenson stuff thats what the box things say... i know almost nothing about sound systems can you tell? By the way, this thing GETS LOUD! and its not the stock radio. some new looking one it has a Cd player.. the faceplate folds down to put a cd in..

jensen 720 watt amp list price is $129
powerbass 460 watt amp list price is $444 (powerbass is a fairly high end I have found)
audiobahn 600 watt amp list is $399 (popular low end company) get the idea
