i need an amp
well right now i have an interfire amp...there isnt a single sticker on it (except for the serial number) and all it says is interfire. i dont know much about it, except that its a 4 channel amp bridged into a 2 channel...and it sucks.
i need a new one to run my subs. theyre 12" crossfires...single 4 ohm voice coil, 200 rms, 350 max.
ive been cruising the net all night, mostly ebay, and cant really find what im looking for: a new or used amp around $100-$150 with 400 rms.

also bear in mind that todays watts are different, and those subs can handle more than 200 watts from a good amp or less from a bad amp (distortion kills subs I have only seen a couple of subs blown from overpowering, and that was in competition)

pyle is pyramid, power acoustik won't do 400 watss if lightning strikes (I carry them, not bad for cheap but not better than what you have) jensen is about the same as you have. Speaker wattage is a useless measurement, speakers don't use watts, and if given clean power can handle more or less. The hard part is your price range. The amp I would prefer for you is backordered right now (it's a soundstream and is technically lower power than you want, but are usually underrated)
