hoo a wire from the battery to the + cable on the cap, another cable from the - to ground, a line from the + cable to the amp fuse block (you do have a fuse in the back don't you) and a remote line to the spot for that (if an led cap) when charging be sure to use the supplied resistor

take an 8 gauge wire from your battery hook that to the positve post on the cap, take another 8 gauge wire and go to the distribution block for your amps (from said positive cable) take another 8 gauge wire from the negative post to ground. if needed there will be a remote line use the one that turns on your amps

Hmm, I should be getting it tomorrow (hopefully). Looking at the diagram and your explanation, Arch, couldn't I just splice the cap into the power wires that are already running to the amp?

I have my negative wire grounded locally by the rear quarter panel.

yes you can but it must be the battery supply with a large enough gauge wire, and make sure the grounds are kept short
