I'm trying to find out how to wire up the deck on my 91 Civic SI. The way I have it now the face of the deck does not light up and my dash lights take a second before they come on. I must have it hooked up wrong, can anyone point me in the right direction or is the deck maybe no good ?

are you using a wiring harness on your stock harness or is everything cut and ur just wirng it straight to the car?

Wiring it strait to the car, that's how it was all rerady

yea u might have sometihng backwards,double check the black red and yellow as long as those r right youll get power to your deck then its just plug and play to the get the wires to the right speakers.if u dont have the right wires to the speakers at high volume theyll crack and cut out. my civic was like that it sucked so i just ran new speaker wire to my speakers. If u have a volt meter thatll help u alot to figure out your power wire and ground..hope all goes good 4 yea
