But just a note... Alpine isnt what it use to be 5 years ago. They are making their units like everyone else. They are stripping their units of the feature but keeping prices relatively high priced. Unless its the top of the line unit, everything else is just a unit.

had a sony explode deck and it sucked something fierce and my boi has a pioneer deck which is aii but nothin great. I would spend my money on clarion but thats just my opinion

Pioneer Premier
I've owned both Sony and Pioneer product over the last 10 years and I love Pioneer. Good prices even the Premier line up compared to equal decks. Also Pioneer compontent speakers I swear by, I don't like either for amps or subs JL Audio for those.

I like the Kenwood deck I have now $100 at Best Buy, and I used to be a hardcore Alpine guy. But if the only choice is Pioneer or Sony, Pioneer all the way. Sony is no better than Pyramid or Dual. Cheap flea market crap!!!!
