What next?

I'm board and i thought id ask some input as what i should add next to my audio system.

Currently running,
Eclipse 5423 head unit
XM satelite radio
2 12" mtx 8500 dvc
us amps md2d
6 1/2's nagamitchi fronts running of my deck
aslo have 2 tft 7" visor monitors

Thinking of going with a set of infinity 6010cs components, and maybe a good pair of 6x9's (mtx 6094) or another pair of 6 1/2's for the rear, and a us amps 4 channel for the components.

Any better ideas?

Kyle.

spend all ur money for the front speakers and a decent amp to run the components. deck power is dirty with a high thd. remember ur front speakers are the most important because they are ur soundstage. rear are simply filler.

and some of the best speakers are focal period.

I would avoid MTX 6x9's. They make great subs, but I wasn't impressed with their normal speakers.

caps are a bandaid to lights dimming basicly. a 2nd battery is far better and around the same price. only downside is the size and weight. if u have enuff room to fit a 2nd battery in the trunk it would be the best route, if not tho a cap will stiffin things up a bit and i would go with at LEAST a 1.5 farad.

So ive picked up most of the parts for my new system. I am having some trouble with pre-installation. Im just trying to figure out how everything is going to be wired. This will be my first mutil-amp system.

How do i wire the multiple RCA's to my deck? what goes where? Also, when wiring two amps do i run two power cables from the battery and 2 ground wires like there single? and just wire the cap to the mono amp? What amp fuse do i use? And when conecting the two remote wires can i just splice two from the one from my deck?

Wiring i have;
20 feet 0g
3 feet 0g ground
0g ring terminals
0g/4g/8g battery terminal
0g inline anl fuse holder
250amp anl fuse

What else would i need?

system is comprised of;
us amps md2 mono
us amps md42 4 channel
audiobahn 3f cap
infinity 5010cs components
6.5" nagamitchi's
2 12" mtx 8500's dvc
Eclipse 5423 head unit
XM satelite radio

Any help would be greatly appreciated
Kyle.

x2... but even before getting a new battery try doing 'the big 3' ... basically that means upgrading your Alt --> Batt connection, Batt--> Casis ground, and Chasis --> Engine

This will help the current flow 'through' your system a lot better. In most cases this will help any flickering.

Also... avoid caps all together. They've been proven to be pretty much useless. (unless you're getting one just for looks)

if you want a great write up on how to do the upgrade..... clicky!

goddamn... could you pick any more random equipment?

My first suggestion for installing that stuff is to sell 1/2 of it.... too much isn't always a good thing!
