what subs wuld be louder... 2 mtx 9500 or 2 kicker L7
#16
Just because you havent heard any doesn't mean they dont exist . I have heard a lot of other subs that are louder than kicker L7's. I like the L7's (owned a lot of kicker solobarics, even the very first gens that were round with the red "solobaric" lettering under the gold "kicker" logos) but they are by no means the best or loudest sub out there . Besides, you can't dispute the math.

I'm going to vote on the MTX. I've got a Road Thunder 5000 series 12", and I'll buy another MTX. But alot of people have said it's the box. It's 2.1 cubic feet, fibreglass, built to sit in a rabbit spare tire well.

well i got told a kicker sub is like trying to drive a car with square wheels, it just doesn't do as good of a job.
i go with brianb!
also, its not just the subs in the correct spec box that will make it sound louder or better.. it has to do with sub placement, the size of your car, where the subs are in your car.. which way ports are if you have em.. so on.. theres factors to think about.. its it in a trunk, or a hatchback. so on so on..
no, bass will not damage your screen, only your hearing.
