Door locks

Anyone have problems with their door locks after removing and replacing the door panel? My passenger side lock seems very stiff.

yeah my window was rattling so i took the panel off and i didnt even get it fixed, but when i put it back on i never got that little orange plastic piece back in... i had it in and when i had the panel on it woulndt let me open the door from inside or out, and it was stuck... so i had to unscrew the door in the passenger seat to fix it... never got the piece back in, but yea my metal thing for the lock seems like its off... if you find a nice walkthrough on how to fix it let me know

I'm a lazy SOB . I just use the keyless remote.

I actually bought two more so that I wouldn't have to worry about dead batteries or such. I just need to get around to program them. If I ever get the car repainted, I'd like the shop to remove the key holes and paint over them . Next thing will be to completely remove the key from the system and have the "push start mod" done, heh heh. Now thats LAaaaaZzzzYy !!

Yea, when I baught the Camaro the power door locks were not working. I need had cartoys take a look at it (cost me $48) and they concluded that I had to take it to a dealership / manufact.

I hope to get the car in soon to have that done as I was used to my honda's door locks. They were pretty nice, disarm alarm and all doors open. Start engine - all doors lock. Turn off engine - all doors unlock. Doors would also autolock themselves every 2 minutes.

Would be sweet to have that same setup again. I like the idea about no keyholes though
