I'm trying to remove the coat hangers on 4th gen Camaro. I got the little square thing to pop up. But do I yank it all the way out or what? I don't want to tear them up.

I need to remove the coat hangers so I can remove that middle plastic piece so I can replace the carpet.

The little square piece that pops out of the middle just slides all the way out. Easy peasy lemon sqeezy...

Ummm, I tried to pull it out with plers and it don't wanna come out. That's real soft plasitc. Is there some kinda trick?

I got it. It does come straight back. It's a funny snap thingy. I found that a small flat-head screw drivers helps to pop it out, then a really big flat head screw driver helps it come all the way out.

Glad someone other than me was wondering that.

I've got it to pop up, but haven't got it all the way out yet. I'll try again.
