I got the shift boot from http://lightningautocustoms.com/97-0...c_retrofit.htm
very good company! item arrived promptly and as described. cost ~ $26 shipped and they also threw in a pen, keychain, and 2 decals.
ahh, yea bought the rims off an SS. so it came with the SS center caps. planing on putting some black ones with the corvette emblem, but for now leaving it as is. these are pretty pricey and hard to find actually, even ask ProjectCamaro.
Im sticking with my 3.42's but adding a new eaton posi.
thanks Matthew for helping me answer the questions lol.

sman: it was by far the easiest mod ive done..
all you need are:
small flat head screw driver.. (to get the clip outta the shift ****),
and a 9/32 9M socket (to undo the screws on shifter plate)
lol the instrutions sucked @$$, "Remove white shift indicator section. (as seen in picture)
WTF, what picture?! lol yea, hard part was adjusting the leather boot so it wont move when u shifted out off P. had to take it out twice. Its all good now.
Thanks again guys. What do you guys think i should do next. The borla is going on soon once i get my headers and hi flow cat.
