exactly, it obstructs view from cameras (which I believe are not legal, but they still allow) I think they look better on the grill than below since on the grill it looks like it's supposed to be there, below it it looks like you slapped something on to make it legal

Thats pretty gay here then, because they just stopped mailing out tickets for running yellows or whatever, just for that reason - that its guilty by assumption, and it could have been someone else driving your car, yet you get the ticket. So they stopped doing that here... I wonder what MNs excuse is then

Cameras are a good idea at intersections, but only to figure out what happened during an accident. But I never agreed with them using them for tickets. It made sense in some politician's head as a way to make more money, but in reality it wasn't a good idea. Basically it took away your right of innocent until proven guilty. With those it was guilty unless you could prove yourself innocent. And to throw salt in the wound, it would cost you $100 just to request the information and a copy of the ticket. So most people would just plea guilty to avoid the headache.

Could I mount it without drillin holes through my precious airdam or nose? I can see how that wouldn't look horrible ... Well, yes it would, but it would do better than over the grille.

I just drilled holes. They dont have to be that big, but holes in that thing are meaningless.

If I had to do it, I'd just zip tie it on the front ofver the grille, but that's me. I'm just glad its not a worry here.

I had my front plate on my airdam.....drove it like that for 2 1/2 years. Then I get pulled over twice for it in one month (and one was a ticket......).

Of course, I was pulled over in the first place for "exhibition of acceleration"...I doubt he would have pulled me over just for the plate.

You can get into quite a bit of trouble in a lot of states for having more than one legal address. Odds are you probably won't get caught, but there is always the chance. If you live near a state border and see the same cars time and time again, its not a big deal. But a car with florida tags in MI for months and months at a time typically would stick out- at least to me it would.

This is how I did mine. I also researched my state requirements. Look up yours and keep a copy in the car to show it conforms. I have had no issues to date.
