Well, thats what I was going for. I want something different. Everything I do to my car I want to be at least somewhat original. Nothing worse than going to a car show and seeing a car that looks almost identical to yours.

he has the decals on there to save on parts. He gets a discount for that. Not a bad idea I guess.

Shipped $848 USD. But, mine was the first one made. Prod code even says #000001. I believe the price is substantially higher now, around the 1400 mark.

Because that isnt real carbon fiber. This is. And it has 10 layers of clear coat, so its not going to fade and scratch like that other ****.

Noir, I know one of the guys at VIS, I might be able to talk to him and see if he can get you the introductory price... but i'd have to know you were solid about buying it first.

thank you, real carbon fabric is not cheap, anyone that says it is is using black cloth (available for teh same price as white and real common on ebay) carbon is stronger and lighter than regular fiberglass

Indeed. And those that ARE using the real thing, are REALLY careful because its so expensive, hence they do better work and typically charge more. The rule of thumb with hoods, the more you pay, the more you get. Fitment, looks, quality, etc.
