hey so how good will the light shine through if u use this? does anybody have any daytime pics with their brakes on? reason i ask is because i was thinking of doing my tails but i dont want em to be super dark like the black out covers because it is reallly hard to see them during the day thanx

I can try on my next day off, if my Dad will let me borrow his digital camera. Mine's still going through all the warrenty crap to get it fixed. yeah she said she used 5 coats and i wanna just make it black but not real dark so maybe 2 coats, yeah those covers are too dark

If you can see the running lights during the day that good, your going to be able to see the brakes aswell..

but you need to see the brakes better than parking lights (there is actually a distance thing) some of us like our cars safe and good looking

I know but I was saying that if you can see the running lights that well in the day.. And the brakes are brighter than the running lights im sure you will be able to see them as well.. You know what I mean?

Also Danielle if you ever wanted to remove the black is it possible?

Let's put it this way, I'm going outside right now to take pictures of mine, and mine are a lot darker than hers (I think I did somewhere between 10-13 coats)

My passenger side parking light has a bulb out, my passenger headlight is burnt out, and the driver side of the third brake light is burned out.
