Well, i have 2. On my near mint car no problems, use it all the time. On my old beater that had flaking paint, not a good idea.

at work..i use a 3000 Psi Pressure Washer to wash cars and help out in detailing.
The one's we use is a built in system , so it isn't portable.

But save up some cash and invest into a 2500-3000 Psi Pressure Washer from Crappy tire ...

Alright i think this is where the confusion is...

Pressure washers can be used on cars but the nozzle has to be adjusted properly. If the nozzle is adjusted to high pressure small area, sure you are going to ruin your car. The nozzle should spray a big pattern covering about 3 or 4 feet and keep your distance from the car. Pressure washers are convenient for the resiviors where you can add soap and such. I find that is probably the only pro of a pressure washer otheriwise a hose is just as good ! Just my 2 cents.

pressure washers are okay, but if you go to like a coin place, watch out for the brush you use along with the soap, might scratch your car...
