That's just way too much plastic to start either swapping to black (if I could even find them all in black) or to paint black (which would eventually chip away.) I'm just not going to go through all that trouble. And I couldn't really do a few pieces, because then it'd really look bad...which is not to insinuate that I think the gray stuff looks bad now.
hmm all the ones I did prep on (the ones with the black and white houndstooth) had all white panels and the paint if done right won't chip (many factory parts are painted on new cars)

I've never seen one that came from the factory with anything white other than the seats. Perhaps the one you came across one that had some aftermarket work done to it. Many people will do the door panels with a white panel, but I don't want to do that. I want the seats to be the main focus of the interior.

So what was done in white other than the seats? You've got my curiosity going now.

Must have been some special deal because I've seen lots of 30th anniversary Z-28's and SS's and I've never seen one with that much white in it.

Do you have any pictures? I've never seen one like that either, I just did an image and normal search on Google and everyone I found had just the white seats.

I was working at the dealer so no pics. I know at least one went to a museum in Atlanta (not sure which, but we were told not to pull any of the protective stuff)
