I don't like black rims personally either, but how often do I complain about them after they are on the car?

I made the blackouts and decided on the louvers because of the graphite wheels, lol. I had the clears all around with regular taillights, and no headlight covers, but when the wheels were made dark all that clear just looked wrong on there. Stood out way too much.. so I bought some niteshades, bought Grant's old ambers(he was scared about that till I told him why I wanted them lol), used my original side markers & taillights and tinted them all, then bought headlight covers. I still have all my clears, so If I ever change the wheels to something chrome, or even polished, I could put them in, or still leave it black. My Car has went through quite an evolution since the Summer of 2003.

yeah, I've never really liked clears, they remind me of imports.

i like both the clears and the blackouts. I just don't like the stock amber. ugh. Clears reall clean up a front end. Blackouts just look mean. Either way is cool to me. But Mayhem is meant to be mean. But depending on what new wheels I might have to get, I may be able to go back and forth between the clears and blackouts whenever I change my mind. But I think I'll mostly stick to the blackouts.

Yeah when I think of clears I think of civics, and when I think of black outs I think of an assortment of domestics. The ambers really aren't that bad, especially on a red car or on an SOM car..
