Modified Vortech Elbow
I have up for sale a Vortech Air Intake Elbow that fits LT1 engines. I bought it to fit my 1995 Z28. It is the Polished version with the divider running down the middle. It has since been modified in a few different aspects to work with my needs. The first difference between my elbow and a stock one is the length. I cut about 1/2 inch off the end of it to work with my SLP Air Intake. This is a required mod for most Intakes, but not all of them. The second modification is a drilled and tapped 1/8 NPT hole in the side of the elbow. When I bought the kit, it came with a 1/8 nipple that threads into this hole to work with the Opti vent line. The elbow will NOT come with the originally supplied nipple fitting. You can purchase this fitting seperatly or you can throw a Nitrous nozzle in there for some fun. I will supply a IAT sensor that has been threaded to screw into the supplied hole. As with any used part, there are some minor scuffs mainly on the bottom of the elbow that can not be seen. No hardware is included but can be purchased at any auto part store for just a couple dollars. Elbow and IAT Sensor Only.
I will go half the price of a new one and with free shipping. $60.00
