1980 Camaro Z28 - T-tops, 4 Speed
am selling my 1980 Camaro Z28. Its a factory four speed, t-top car with a 3.08 posi rear. GM documented as 1 of 80 and comes with GM historical package, and all tags and documentation.
Has had new lower quarters installed, new tail panel, new drivers side floor pan. Frames solid, as is the cowl. Doors have had the bottoms done. Car is in primer now - body tub has been blocked but needs final panel alignment and final blocking before paint. Has the original cowl hood, and a spare 79' Z28 stinger hood. Bad windshield but rest of glass is good and comes with spare door glass. Have new T-top, windows, and door seals for car. Trunk lid is stock and so is the rear spoiler.
Body has solid subframe bushings, welded through the floor subframe connectors, welded front frame saver bars, 6 point roll bar with removable door bars, a ATL Fuelsafe sportman fuel cell sunk into the trunk floor, -8 fuel lines front to back, quick ratio steering box, completely rebuilt front suspension using moog and energy suspension parts with 2" lowering springs, 1LE 12" cross drilled front disk brake conversion with brembo rotors, corvette master cylinder, SSB adjustable proportioning valve, all new brakes, 8.5" ten bolt posi rear with a 3.08 gear, Doetchtech adjustable shocks, urethane bushings in the suspension, battery has been relocated to the trunk with a remote solinoid and key'd master power switch, 16x8 rims, Toyo Proxess 245/50R16 tires etc. Too much to list.
Interior is nice but carpet is faded. No back seat due to custom 6 point roll bar with removable door bars. There is a rear firewall for the trunk mounted battery and fuel cell. The dash is uncracked, has a 1979' Z28 dash cluster with the earlier 130mph speedo (stock is 85mph), nice door panels, GM Performance parts steering wheel, 4th gen leather seats, etc. Interior is currently loosely in the car since it was getting ready to be painted.
No engine, no transmission. Car needs to be trailered since it doesn't have an engine or transmission. Comes with lots of spares - includes all the spoilers, nose, tail, bumpers, etc. Its a COMPLETE body with all the bumper assemblies, and spoilers that has had all the major bodywork already done. Just needs final assembly, blocking, and paint. All spoilers are there, but are not bolted on the car.
Car is currently stored in Alliston ontario - 45minutes north of toronto, just west of highway 400. If someone buys the car, I can deliver it in the GTA the the price of gas.
