As topic states, up for sale is my beloved 1994 VW Golf CL. I love this car a lot but currently it is my wife's car and it never gets used anymore (she is between jobs). This car has been in my family since it was new and has stayed with us all but 2 years of its life. It's mainly got original paint (a run in with a deer had the hood, a fender and a door repainted), hatch has rust fixed and was repainted as well. Currently the car's only body rust is a tiny spot on the driver's door below the mirror. Nothing else. Not even behind the fuel door. No major dents or scratches to speak of.



Here are the major details:

Right off the bat I'll list the troubles with it:

Problem spots:
- burns a small amount of oil on start-up (1 - 1.5L between oil changes)
- chip in the windshield
- AC no longer works

Exterior mods:
- GTI sideskirts (top strip replaced a few month ago)
- colour matched side moldings (also comes with textured moldings)
- Euro VR6 chin spoiler (also comes with NA spoiler for winter)
- rear spoiler removed and window holes plugged
- rear wiper removed and hole plugged
- Mattig badgless grill with top bars painted black
- Kamei air ducts replaced dummy lights
- Hella MkIV look headlights
- Hella smoked sidemarker lights
- Thule rack

Interior mods:
- 1998 GTI VR6 leather interior front and back
- remote entry, alarm, and remote start
- DE shift boot and ****
- TT pedals
- 35% tint on all windows
- Alpine MP3/WMA deck - pre-wired for sub

Suspension:
- Weitec 60/40 kit - rears on lowest perch
- stock 9.4" solid brakes (recently serviced)

Engine:
- stock 1.8L ACC engine
- new exhaust (downpipe to tip) last year
- new valve cover gasket
- K&N drop in
- modified airbox
- recently coolant flush
- no leaks

Wheels:
- 14" Flyers with Hankook tires (75% tread left)
- 14" steelies with snows (need replacing) - OPTIONAL

Asking $3500 FIRM! Just passed its last DriveClean test 3 weeks ago. Should need nothing to safety except for the windshield (less than $300 installed - can be negotiated into price).
