I've had a bottle of the Meguire's for a over a year and I still have a lot left. You can use it on any swirls or marks from bugs or bird **** in the paint and it takes it off.

I like meguires, but that is the wrong product for teh job, swirl remover is used as the next to last step in the polishing process to get the marks from the heavier products out. if you want a polish use 3m finesse it II it's the stuff you'll find most body shops using

you used the bar wrong if it didn't do anything, you need to use a more agressive polish first or you'll be spending too much time

Clay bar does work, and the swirl remover isn't bad, its just not what I recommend here...
