*PICS* new nozzle location..any comments?
heres my new nozzle location..before it was stuck straight in the back of the box and blew right across the hole..first through a small crevice..i found this was causing me to lose some nitrous..and sometimes since the nitrous couldnt fan out..it was causing an actual ice jam in front of the nozzle which was basically stopping all nitrous flow and making run a lot of the way NA..sounds crazy and i never thought it would happen..but i actually took the filter out and watched it happen..now its about 8" from the MAF and is angled so it sprays directly at it and the TB (some pics show the inside) ..the pics are a little crappy..i just got done doing it..any comments/suggestions?

thanks! ..the problem with this setup is that i cant really spray into the intake from straight on..i have to spray from the side at such an angle..so im wondering if anyone else has like this..i worked somewhat ok before..but im hoping this will fix some of the problems that i was having..its hard to find good intakes for the 98s except for the lids!

For kicks try and point your nozzle away from the maf. You want the nitrous to fully atomize with the incoming air before entering the maf, now the way you have it, its only gonna bank off one side of the maf and its not gonna recognize the extra air density and add more fuel like its suppsoed to do. Also if it still has the screen in the maf this will help with keeping it from getting iced up too.
The performance diff on my LS1 with nozzle direction (100shot dual nozzle, Dual .032" flare jets) is night and day, it doesnt hit nearly as hard and sometimes go super rich on the intial hit and the nitrous doesnt hit as hard with them pointed right at the maf. With them away, its instantaneous and the 100 shot i had it jetted for at the time hit really **** hard for a dry.
